BOGO at Zoya!

Zoya is offering BOGO on up to 12 polishes (that is, up to 6 free) with code SCHOOL. There are no restrictions on Pixies – so this works out to $4.00 per polish or $4.50 per pixie dust. Not bad!

Butter London $10 Polishes

Butter London is clearing out some of their soon to be discontinued polishes for just $10 each. They also have lip gloss for $12. Shop here.

August Birchbox

Birchbox is my other monthly $10 beauty box. It doesn’t come with a cool bag, but includes about the same number of products. I consider Birchbox and Ipsy to be pretty comparable, and each month I go back and forth about which I liked better.

Here’s what Birchbox sent me for August:

  • Cailyn Gel Eyeliner
  • Whish Deodorant Swipe
  • Whish Exfoliating Body Wash
  • Miss Jessie’s Super Sweetback and Rapid Recovery Treatment

I will use all of these! I have wavy hair that I’m always trying to coax into lasting curliness, and these samples will allow me to try the Miss Jessie’s products without investing in a large, expensive tub.

August Ipsy Bag

I like Ipsy a lot because for the small price of $10 a month, I get a little present in the mail. I try to forget its coming so its a nice surprise, and this month Ipsy did not disappoint. Here’s what they sent me for August:20130811-163411.jpg

• Purple Ipsy Glamour Academy bag
• Noya cherry lip balm
• Michael Todd pumpkin facial mask
• Pacifica BB cream
• Pixi lash booster mascara
• Mica bronze shimmer powder

I might not use them all but I love a little mascara to put in my purse and can’t get enough lip balm.

If you’re interested in Ipsy, you can sign up here. There are several Facebook groups dedicated to swapping the items people get, since not everyone gets the same bag each month, so there’s little worry of getting stuck with nothing you like.
